Putting iAds Into Your App


Before you can really get started you need to get accepted into the iAd Network.  In order for the iAd Network module to appear on your iTunes Connect homepage you need to do a few things first.  The first thing you need is an Apple Developer account. Secondly you need to iTunes Connect access. Finally you need to agree to both the current iPhone Developer Program contract and the iAds Network contract.

If your role in iTunes Connect is an Administrator then you can request and agree to the iAd Network contract type as shown below.

Next, you must enable at least one of your apps for iAds.

You will then see the iAd Network module on your iTunes Connect homepage.

Within the iAd Network you will be able to set up your iAd preferences to help determine which type of ads are served to your application.
